Development of New Thought and the Unity Movement

This course will explore Unity’s origins as well as its evolution from a small group of spiritual seekers into the worldwide spiritual movement Unity is today. Topics will include the events that inspired Charles and Myrtle Fillmore to share their spiritual insights: Unity’s three-part ministry of prayer, publishing, and education; major events (including controversies) in Unity’s history; and Unity’s relationship with the larger New Thought movement.
